President of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono for the third time visiting the PT Dirgantara Indonesia. On this October 26, 2011 occasion, the President was accompanied by a number of Ministers, the Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Chief of Police, and several members of the House of Representatives, after his earlier visit in 2006 and 2009, this time the President directly watched a fly pass demonstration of CN295 and Kopassus paratroopers at Bandung Husein Sastranegara Airport.

On his visit to PTDI President witnessed the product collaboration of PT Dirgantara Indonesia and Airbius Military Aerospace, the signing commitment CN295 aircraft procurement between the Ministry of Defence and PT Dirgantara Indonesia to support the needs of weapon system by Indonesian Armed Forces, CN295 aircraft marketing agreement for Asia-Pacific market, and the signing of Letter of Intent between the Indonesia Police and PT Dirgantara Indonesia.The President was pleased to look at the CN295 aircraft and other products of PT Dirgantara Indonesia.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, Rear Marshal Erries Heryanto told about the engineering processes of KFX/IFX fighter. President and his entourage left the facilities after having lunch. And KKIP held a press conference immediately after the President left PT Dirgantara Indonesia for further explanation on the development of the weapon system.
